Patna: Automatic signaling work on the Gorakhpur-Gonda rail section between Chureb and Munderwa stations from December 23 to 25 has led to changes in the routes of 11 trains passing through Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, one pair of trains has been cancelled. The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of PUMRE has provided details about the changes.
Trains with Changed Routes
– 02563/02564 Barauni-New Delhi-Barauni Special
On December 24, the 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Special will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda. The 02564 New Delhi-Barauni Special will return via Gonda-Badhni-Gorakhpur.
– 02569/02570 Darbhanga-New Delhi-Darbhanga Special
On December 24, the 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Special will operate via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda instead of Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda. The 02570 New Delhi-Darbhanga Special will take the reverse route on December 24 and 25.
– 05283/05284 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Special
On December 24, the 05283 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special will run via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda. Its return service, the 05284 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Special, will follow Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur.
– 15274 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Express
This train will run via Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur instead of the usual route on December 23 and 24.
– 09190 Katihar-Mumbai Central Special
On December 24, this train will operate via Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda instead of its regular route.
– 05577/05578 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Special
The 05577 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Special will follow the alternate route via Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda on December 23. The return train, 05578 Anand Vihar-Saharsa Special, will use the same route on December 24.
– 12554 New Delhi-Saharsa Express
This train will run via Gonda-Basti-Gorakhpur on December 23 and 24 instead of its regular route.
Trains Cancelled
– 04137/04138 Gwalior-Barauni-Gwalior Special
The 04137 Gwalior-Barauni Special train scheduled for December 25 has been cancelled. Similarly, the 04138 Barauni-Gwalior Special train departing on December 26 will also remain cancelled.
