Nitish Kumar to Inaugurate 110 Development Projects Worth Rs 200 Crore in Motihari Today During ‘Pragati Yatra’
Motihari: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will visit Motihari on the second day of his ambitious “Pragati Yatra,” bringing a slew of development projects to the district. During his visit, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 110 projects worth approximately ₹200 crore. Preparations for the event have been finalized.
The Chief Minister’s itinerary includes the inauguration and foundation stone-laying of several major infrastructure and community development projects, including:
- Railway Overbridge (ROB) at Kachhari Chowk – A significant step towards easing traffic congestion in the area.
- Upgraded Higher Secondary School Building in Sundarapur, Kesaria – Aiming to enhance educational facilities.
- Panchayat Government Building in North Sugaon Panchayat, Sugauli – Supporting grassroots governance.
- Bridge Construction over the Dhanauti River at Majuraha – Improving connectivity and transportation.
- Pond Inauguration under Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Yojana – Promoting water conservation and ecological balance.
The Chief Minister’s day is packed with activities aimed at boosting development and engaging with local officials.
- 9:50 AM: Departure from Patna.
- 10:50 AM: Arrival in Kesaria, East Champaran, for the inauguration of the upgraded higher secondary school in Sundarapur and laying of foundation stones for departmental schemes.
- 11:50 AM: Inauguration of the Panchayat Government Building in North Sugaon Panchayat.
- 12:40 PM: Arrival at Kachhari Chowk, Motihari, for the inauguration of the newly constructed ROB and inspection of the bridge under construction on the Dhanauti River.
- 2:00 PM: Meeting with departmental officials at Dr. Radhakrishnan Bhawan in the Collectorate to review developmental progress.
- 3:00 PM: Departure for the helipad at Police Center, Motihari, to conclude the day’s activities.
