Bihar Weather Update: Clear Skies and Dry Conditions Expected for South Bihar from January 15

Patna: The India Meteorological Department has forecasted mostly clear skies and dry weather for the districts of South Bihar from January 15-19, 2025. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 24-25°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to be between 12-13°C. Relative humidity is expected to remain between 88-94 percent in the morning and 55-60 percent in the afternoon. Westerly winds are anticipated to blow at speeds of 5-9 km/h during this period.

For farmers, the forecast also provides recommendations for crop protection. To safeguard pigeon pea crops from pests, it is advised to spray Cartap Hydrochloride medicine at a rate of 1.5 ml per liter of water. Regular monitoring of aphids in mustard crops is recommended, and to manage this pest, Dimethoate 30 EC should be sprayed at a rate of 1.0 ml per liter of water. Additionally, farmers are encouraged to carry out weeding in vegetable fields.
