25-Year-Old Auto Driver Dies by Suicide in Patna City

Patna: A 25-year-old auto driver, Suraj Kumar, was found dead in Patna City on Wednesday after allegedly taking his own life. His body was discovered hanging in his home in the Khajekala police station area. The young man, a resident of Badalpur in Chhota Bazar, is believed to have been struggling with stress stemming from a family dispute.

Suraj’s father, Dilip Kumar, shared that his son had been upset for a prolonged period, and he had made an effort to console him earlier on the day of the incident. “Despite my attempts to talk to him, Suraj took this drastic step. In the morning, we found his body hanging, and we rushed to bring him down,” Dilip Kumar said.

The family immediately rushed Suraj to Guru Govind Singh Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Khajekala police station in-charge, Prabhat Ranjan Saxena, confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene.

While the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death, no formal complaint has been filed by the family. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident could be linked to the ongoing family dispute. Authorities stated they would proceed with further action upon receiving a formal application.
