Patna: With the Bihar assembly elections just months away, political tensions are running high. While the BJP-led NDA asserts that it will retain power in the state, the opposition Grand Alliance claims that this time, Tejashwi Yadav will take charge. Amid the ongoing political rhetoric, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has issued a sharp response to the BJP’s confidence.
Reacting to the BJP’s claim of forming the next government, Lalu dismissed the possibility outright. “BJP cannot form the government in Bihar while we are here. They now understand that their truth has been exposed before the public,” he said.
Taking a further dig at the ruling party, the veteran leader asserted that voters had seen through the BJP’s politics. “The public has now recognised them for what they are. How will they form a government when we are here?” he added.
Lalu’s remarks have intensified the political atmosphere in the state as both camps gear up for a fierce electoral battle.
