IIM Bodh Gaya Conducts Management Development Program for HPCL Dealers

Bodh Gaya: IIM Bodh Gaya has successfully conducted a three-day Management Development Programme (MDP) for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) dealers this month. The programme, organised in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), aimed to enhance managerial and operational skills and was attended by 35 HPCL dealers from various districts of Bihar.

Prof Vinita S Sahay, director of IIM Bodh Gaya, emphasised the significance of responsible management and personal effectiveness. The programme focused on equipping participants with strategic thinking, financial acumen, team-building skills, and insights into Industry 4.0, customer-centricity, and operational excellence. Sessions were conducted by esteemed faculty members of the institute.

The programme was coordinated by Dr Samant Saurabh and Dr Shashank Kumar, ensuring its smooth execution. Industry experts, including Devta Panda, deputy general manager, ARB Business, HPCL, and Pankaj Vaswani, chief general manager, Patna Retail RO, HPCL, provided insights into emerging trends in lubricants and retailing while sharing perspectives on leadership.

The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where participants were awarded certificates. The programme reinforced IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to fostering professional growth and addressing the evolving needs of businesses and society.
