Nitish Kumar’s Son Nishant Backs Father for Another Term as Bihar CM

Patna: Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has urged the people of the state to re-elect his father as chief minister. Speaking at Patna airport on Friday, he reaffirmed his support for the incumbent leader ahead of the upcoming elections.
When asked about comments by former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav suggesting that Nitish was unwell, Nishant dismissed the claims. “No, he is 100 percent healthy and fine,” he said.
However, Nishant remained non-committal on his own political aspirations. “There are elections in Bihar. I had said it earlier and I am saying it now as well—our appeal is that the NDA government should return, and my father should be chief minister again,” he said.
Nishant had returned to Patna after attending the wedding of his personal security officer’s son in Delhi.
