Holi Special Trains: Railways to Run Extra Services on Howrah-Raxaul, Sealdah, Gorakhpur, and Kolkata-Patna Routes

Patna: In view of the Holi festival, Indian Railways has announced special train services to accommodate increased passenger demand. According to Hajipur Zone Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra, several trains will operate on key routes to facilitate smooth travel during the festive season.
Howrah-Raxaul Special Trains
Two special trains will run between Howrah and Raxaul:
- Train number 03043 will depart from Howrah at 11:00 pm on March 8, reaching Raxaul at 4:10 pm the next day. On the return journey, train 03044 will leave Raxaul at 5:30 pm on March 9.
- Another pair of special trains—03045 and 03046—will operate on March 10 and 13 from Howrah, with return services from Raxaul on March 11 and 14.
Sealdah-Gorakhpur Special Train
- Train number 03132 will depart from Sealdah at 6:15 pm on March 8, 10, and 13, reaching Patna at 2:50 am and Gorakhpur at 10:15 am the next day.
- The return train, 03133, will leave Gorakhpur at 1:00 pm on March 9, 11, and 14.
Kolkata-Patna Special Train
- Train 03135 will depart from Kolkata at 11:50 pm on March 11, while the return train, 03136, will leave Patna at 12:00 noon on March 12.
Kolkata-Jayanagar Special Train
- Train 03187 will leave Kolkata at 11:55 pm on March 7, with the return train, 03188, departing from Jaynagar at 3:00 pm on March 8.
Howrah-Khatipura (Jaipur) Holi Special
- Train 03007 will run from Howrah at 6:00 pm on March 9 and 16, reaching Khatipura/Jaipur at 11:30 pm the next day, with a scheduled stop at Patna Junction at 3:25 am.
- The return service, 03008, will depart from Khatipura (Jaipur) at 5:30 am on March 11 and 18, arriving in Howrah at 3:15 pm the next day, with a halt at Patna Junction at 4:30 am.
All special trains will stop at major stations along their respective routes to accommodate passengers.
Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
