Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital Honors Nursing Staff on International Women's Day

Patna: Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital here marked International Women’s Day by honoring 16 nursing staff members for their dedication and service. The event, held in the hospital auditorium, highlighted the invaluable contributions of women in healthcare.

Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, the hospital’s director, praised the efforts of female healthcare workers, emphasizing their critical role in patient care. “From nursing staff to women doctors, their commitment ensures quality medical service round the clock. The dedication of our nursing staff in caring for patients is truly commendable,” he said. He also drew inspiration from Mother Teresa, acknowledging her legacy of selfless service.

Dr. Geeta, head of the hospital’s anesthesia department, addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of women being aware of both their rights and responsibilities.

Among those honored were Sister Omna, Pammi, Bhanupriya, Chaiti Soren, Rosaline, Rajnigandha, Rakhi, and Akanksha. Several senior doctors, including Dr. Prabhat, Dr. Sapna Jha, Dr. Anita, Dr. Suman, Dr. Rakesh, Dr. Randeep, Dr. Kaushalendra, and Dr. Abhishek Golwara, along with Office Superintendent Murari Prasad Sinha, were present at the event.
