PATNA – An upcoming railway venture, the Vande Bharat train, is set to commence its operations, connecting Patna to Lucknow and making a stop at Arrah Junction. The official notification for the train’s operation is expected to be released later this month, as confirmed by a railway official.

The designated route for this train spans Patna Junction, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, DDU, and Arrah Junction. The Northern Railway, Lucknow Railway Division, Danapur Railway Division, DDU Railway Division, and Varanasi Railway Division have collectively completed the route survey to facilitate the smooth functioning of the Vande Bharat Express on this route.

Railway authorities have shared that the rake for the Lucknow-Patna Vande Bharat Express has been assigned to the Railway Board from the Rail Coach Factory. A formal notification from the board is anticipated shortly.

The proposed timetable for this new route suggests that the train may depart from Lucknow to Patna in the morning. Senior railway officials are currently formulating the timetable based on the existing train schedules in that section during the Vande Bharat Express’s operational hours.
