Grand Ram Navami Celebrations Held at ISKCON Patna

Patna: Thousands of devotees gathered at ISKCON Patna for the grand celebration of Ram Navami 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Ram with a vibrant display of devotion, culture, and spirituality. The temple premises were transformed into a spiritual haven, drawing worshippers from across the city and beyond.

The festivities began with the ceremonial Abhishek of Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman, where the deities were bathed in holy waters from various pilgrimage sites, including Gangajal, along with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and flower petals. The divine ritual was followed by a Maha Aarti and Sankirtan, as chants of “Jai Shri Ram” echoed through the air, creating an atmosphere of reverence and joy.

The temple was adorned with elaborate floral decorations and lighting. Flowers sourced from both India and abroad, along with chandeliers and garlands, added to the visual splendour of the event. Spiritual discourses based on Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, and Ramcharitmanas further enriched the day, offering devotees a deeper understanding of Ram’s life and teachings.

Security was a key focus for the organisers, with comprehensive arrangements that included CCTV surveillance, medical assistance, and a dedicated team of volunteers to manage the crowd and ensure safety. The seamless coordination allowed attendees to participate in the celebrations peacefully and safely.

His Grace Sachisuta Das of ISKCON Patna remarked, “Ram Navami is not just a festival, but a symbol of righteousness, dignity, and the spirit of service. By the grace of Lord Ram, we were able to celebrate this sacred day with grandeur and unity.” The event was seen as a powerful expression of Indian tradition and spiritual consciousness, deeply rooted in cultural heritage.
