
Patna: Patna Women’s College continues to pave the way in emerging tech education, as the Department of Data Science and Analytics hosted an engaging industry talk featuring Vishakha Verma, a UK-based data scientist and Microsoft Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Held on campus, the session titled “Building Skills for Emerging Opportunities in Data Science” provided students with a rare opportunity to hear directly from an international expert with hands-on experience in the field. Verma, currently based in Birmingham, offered a rich and practical perspective on the evolving world of data science.
Welcomed by Dr Priyadarshini, Head of the Department, Verma shared her professional journey, highlighting key skills, certifications, and the critical role of real-world projects in building a successful career in data science. Her talk underscored the growing influence of cloud computing and data analytics, and the need for future professionals to stay agile in a fast-evolving tech ecosystem.
