PATNA – The Division of Research at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna was inaugurated on Wednesday by Executive Director Prof (Dr) GK Pal in the presence of Dean Research Prof (Dr) Prem Kumar. The entire team of the Research Division was present, along with other faculty members of AIIMS Patna.
It was a grand event that included the inauguration of a state-of-the-art committee room with all the latest audiovisual facilities, boasting a seating capacity of 50 people. The official chambers were also inaugurated during this significant occasion.
This marks the beginning of a new era for AIIMS Patna under the able guidance of Dr Pal, focused primarily on strengthening the research potential of the institute and bringing it to international standards. During this event, the Executive Director assured the faculty members that the Research Division would receive full support from the administration, and he pledged to ensure the organization of workshops covering crucial aspects of research. These workshops would benefit not only the faculty of the institute but also undergraduate, postgraduate, and nursing students.
“AIIMS Patna, with the support of the Government of India, is committed to allocating funds for various intramural-funded projects. This commitment aims to encourage quality research that meets international standards, further establishing the institute as a hub for cutting-edge medical research”, the institute stated in a press release.
