Madhubani: An elderly man, identified as Maheshwar Singh, died suddenly in the premises of Madhubani Court on June 25 after a heated argument escalated into a scuffle. Maheshwar, a resident of Khajauli, had arrived at the court to address a land dispute case. Witnesses reported that he confronted individuals involved in a long-standing land conflict. The argument quickly turned physical, and Maheshwar collapsed. He was rushed to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The police have taken several individuals into custody for questioning, as they had ties to the dispute. No external injury marks were found on the body, and authorities suspect that Maheshwar may have died from a heart attack or shock, pending the results of a post-mortem examination.
