Bhagalpur: Following a grand gathering in Patna, Acharya Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwardham Sarkar is set to hold a divine court in Bhagalpur this September, marking yet another major event in his Sanatan Dharma outreach. The announcement was made by Arjit Shashwat Choubey, convenor of the Atal Vichar Parishad, who stated that the event—initially planned for July-August, was rescheduled due to the spiritual leader’s prior commitments.
Two potential venues are currently under discussion for the event: Sandis Stadium and Bhagalpur Airport Ground. With a turnout of lakhs anticipated, local authorities and organisers are preparing extensively to accommodate the massive influx of devotees.
Dhirendra Shastri recently addressed a vast congregation at the Sanatan Maha Kumbh in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on July 6. The turnout was so overwhelming that the venue proved insufficient, with notable spiritual leaders including Padma Bhushan recipient Jagatguru Rambhadracharya in attendance. Organisers believe Bhagalpur will now carry forward the momentum seen in Patna.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey has arrived in Bhagalpur for a two-day visit to launch the Sanatan Sangh Chetna Abhiyan, aimed at rekindling cultural and spiritual awareness among the youth. His journey began in Dariyapur with blessings from his Kuldevi. As part of the campaign, Choubey will also unveil the Sanatan Samvad Souvenir, under the guidance of Jagatguru Ramanujacharya Anantacharya Ji Maharaj.
“This is not just a religious gathering,” said Arjit Shashwat Choubey. “It is the beginning of a spiritual revolution. The visit of Dhirendra Shastri will position Bhagalpur among India’s prominent centres of Sanatan consciousness.”
