Chhapra: The BPSC coaching classes at Haj Bhawan, Patna are now being made available free of cost in online mode to eligible students from across Bihar, including aspirants in Saran district. The initiative is part of the State Minority Coaching Scheme run by the Minority Welfare Department, Government of Bihar.
District Minority Welfare Officer Ravi Prakash announced the expansion, calling it a golden opportunity for minority students who now won’t need to travel to Patna to access top-quality coaching.
“Students can now attend live coaching sessions from their homes. Once their applications are approved, they will receive login credentials to access lectures, study materials, and live guidance sessions by expert faculty,” said Prakash.
Top Faculty from Jamia, AMU to Guide Students
The coaching is supervised by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, the nodal agency for this scheme. Subject experts from premier institutions such as Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, and others will mentor the students. Aspirants will also have access to interactive doubt-clearing sessions.
Every year, several students from Haj Bhawan’s coaching program successfully crack competitive exams like the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and other state PSCs.
Priority for Experienced Candidates
Special preference will be given to candidates who have earlier cleared preliminary, mains, or interviews of UPSC, BPSC, BPSSC, or other state-level commissions. The coaching is open to eligible candidates from minority communities—Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis.
Application Deadline Extended to July 19
Both online and offline applications are now being accepted until July 19, extended from the earlier deadline of July 12. Interested candidates in Saran can collect and submit forms at the District Minority Welfare Office, or apply online to get started.
DMWO Prakash also appealed to educators, teachers, and community leaders to help spread awareness about this opportunity and encourage maximum participation among deserving students.
For more information or to apply, eligible candidates are advised to contact their local Minority Welfare Office or visit the official portal.
