Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has launched his new social media page following his expulsion from the party. Tej Pratap launched a page titled Team Tej Pratap Yadav on Facebook, urging supporters to follow him.
The pages prominently feature a photograph of his parents, Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, alongside a personalised slogan: “Jiska kaayam hai Pratap, woh hai aapka apna Tej Pratap” (The one who stands with honour is your very own Tej Pratap). The move comes amid growing speculation that he may be planning to launch his own political outfit, although no formal announcement has been made.

Close aides suggest a new party may be on the horizon, marking a potential split within Bihar’s prominent political family. However, Tej Pratap has yet to confirm this.
Despite his expulsion from the RJD for six years, the Bihar assembly has not received official communication about the decision. As a result, Tej Pratap is expected to continue sitting alongside his younger brother and Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, in the assembly during the upcoming monsoon session. The prospect of the two brothers appearing side by side in the House raises questions about the future of their political and personal equation.
