Gayaji: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has begun constructing a new campus at Bihta in Patna dedicated to executive and professional education. The foundation stone for the Satellite Executive Education Campus was laid in July by the Chairperson of its Board of Governors, Shri L. Ramkumar, along with Board Member Shri Sandeep Ghose and Director Dr. Vinita S. Sahay.
The Bihta campus will offer Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Executive MBA, and Executive Ph.D. courses. It aims to train working professionals, senior leaders, and government officials from Bihar and other states. The campus will also host certificate programmes in collaboration with IIT Patna, AIIMS Patna, and NIFT Patna to promote interdisciplinary learning and skill development.
IIM Bodh Gayaji has signed agreements with various government departments, including Water Resources, Transport, Industries, BAMETI, IGIMS Patna, and the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, to provide training for public administration and grassroots governance officials. The institute has already trained over 8,100 participants in 2025 through 125 executive programs, including leadership training for Panchayati Raj representatives, BPSC officials, and officers from Bihar Police and State Fire Department.
With this new campus, IIM Bodh Gaya aims to become a national hub for executive and professional education, bridging academia, government, and industry to develop capable and socially responsible leaders for the future.
