Motihari: A protest programme organised by Jan Suraj in Motihari turned chaotic on Monday when Manish Kashyap got into a heated argument with some YouTubers. The clash happened while Kashyap was attending the protest to support Jan Suraj leader Purnima Bharti, who is on a fast unto death.
Purnima Bharti is demanding that the government solve the water crisis in Raxaul and make a diversion near the Koiriya Tola Canal Chowk bridge. Manish Kashyap had come to show his support, but things quickly took a turn when some YouTubers started asking him questions, reportedly about old statements made by Prashant Kishor.
At first, everything seemed normal, but the situation soon got tense. A video that has now gone viral shows Kashyap shouting at a man, accusing him of bringing money and calling out others for recording the scene. Soon after, more people joined in, and pushing and shouting broke out at the protest site.
The situation was later brought under control, but the video has drawn a lot of attention on social media. No police complaint has been reported so far, but the incident has sparked debate about how such protests are managed and how online influencers interact with political figures.
