Vaishali: A new MEMU Fast Passenger service connecting Vaishali and Koderma via Hajipur, Patliputra, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Nalanda, Rajgir, Tilaiya and Gayaji will begin operations this month.
The inaugural run will take place on August 22, when the Prime Minister will flag off train no. 03624 Gayaji–Vaishali Inauguration Special from Gayaji Junction. On the same day, train no. 03626 Gayaji–Koderma Inauguration Special will also operate, departing Gayaji at 11.00 hrs and reaching Koderma at 13.00 hrs with a stop at Gurpa.
The Gaya–Vaishali Inauguration Special is scheduled to leave Gayaji at 10.50 hrs, stopping at Tilaiya (11.50 hrs), Rajgir (13.05 hrs), Nalanda (13.25 hrs), Bihar Sharif (13.45 hrs), Bakhtiyarpur (14.25 hrs), Fatuha (14.55 hrs), Rajendranagar (15.25 hrs), Patna (15.50 hrs), Pataliputra (16.45 hrs), Sonpur (17.20 hrs) and Hajipur (17.40 hrs), before reaching Vaishali at 19.30 hrs.
From August 23, train no. 63383/63384 Vaishali–Koderma–Vaishali MEMU Fast Passenger will run six days a week, excluding Mondays.
Train no. 63383 will depart Vaishali at 05.15 hrs, stopping at Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Patna, Rajendranagar, Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, Rajgir, Tilaiya and Gaya, before reaching Koderma at 15.15 hrs. In return, train no. 63384 will depart Koderma at 16.45 hrs, with its final halt at Vaishali at 02.45 hrs the following day.
