Patna: Two first-year students at BN College in Patna were allegedly subjected to ragging by senior students, creating a climate of fear on campus.
Gaurav Kumar, a Political Science student, was reportedly forced to sit on his knees by senior students on Thursday. While a ragging committee was addressing this incident, another student, Abhinay, a first-year Economics student, reported being harassed by two seniors, Harshit Raj and Abhigyanam.
The Pirbahor police station took three students, Vyankatesh Sharma, Abhigyanam, and Harshit Raj, into custody for questioning. According to officials, an FIR has been lodged, and the students were released on a PR bond pending further investigation.
