Patna: In the run-up to the Bihar Assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has launched a new election song, placing Tejashwi Prasad Yadav at the forefront of its campaign. The 2 minute 41 second video highlights the ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra, led jointly by Tejaswi Prasad and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The song’s lyrics—“Garm khoon hai kholega hi, Tejashwi to bolega hi”—frame the campaign as a fight to protect the rights of Bihar’s voters. It presents both leaders meeting people across districts, addressing rallies, and participating in bike marches, while attacking what the party describes as an attempt to erase the names of 65 lakh voters from the rolls under SIR.
RJD leaders said the song symbolises both defiance and mobilisation, echoing the party’s central message that “the rights of every voter in Bihar will not be allowed to be snatched away.”
