Begusarai: Bihar’s Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, vowed on the second day of his “Bihar Adhikar Yatra” that no educated youth would remain unemployed if his party came to power. Speaking to party workers and the public in Begusarai, via Bakhtiyarpur, Barh, and Mokama, Yadav claimed that citizens were turning out in large numbers, undeterred by the weather.
“The people of Bihar are supporting this journey,” he said. “Whether it is sunshine, rain, or night, they are coming out to be heard.”
Yadav criticised the current Nitish Kumar-BJP government, accusing it of widespread corruption and a rise in crime that has left citizens feeling unsafe even in their own homes. “Bribery is rampant in blocks and police stations. The government is protecting criminals. The people of Bihar want change,” he said.
Promising a government with vision and a renewed resolve, Yadav said that once in power, “anyone with a degree will not sit idle. Whether it is our sisters or our brothers, everyone will find work.” He added that his approach is not just rhetoric: “I don’t just talk, I show by doing.”
He also claimed that rival parties were attempting to copy his vision but lacked the ability to implement it. “Bihar needs a government that promotes education, employment, and industry. The people of Bihar are moving towards change,” he said.
