The announcement came just hours after the BJP also released its election campaign committee, comprising 48 members including Jaiswal, deputy chief ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, and union minister Giriraj Singh.
The moves come amid heightened activity in the state, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently completing a two-day tour of Bihar. Shah chaired a review meeting in Patna with Bihar BJP officials and diaspora in-charges, assessing seat-wise reports and the performance of sitting MLAs. He later travelled to Araria, where he addressed a large gathering of party workers and instructed them to focus on booth-level organisation ahead of the polls.
Party insiders said the twin announcements of the campaign and manifesto committees were aimed at sending a clear message that the BJP is gearing up to fight the elections on both organisational and policy fronts, with Shah playing a central role in shaping the strategy.
