Bihar: Special Holi Train between Delhi and Barauni to Ease Travel for Chhapra Passengers

Special Saharsa-Patna Train to Run for Four Days to Manage Post-Chhath Rush

CHHAPRA – The Delhi-Barauni-Delhi Holi special train, numbered 04062/04061, will provide added convenience for commuters embarking on journeys to and from Chhapra.

Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar disclosed that the special train service will embark on its inaugural trip from Delhi on March 31, 2024, and from Barauni on April 01, 2024. This initiative comes as a response to the anticipated rise in travel demands during the festive period, ensuring seamless connectivity between Chhapra, New Delhi, and Barauni.

The scheduled departure for the 04062 Delhi-Barauni Holi special train is set for 08:50 hrs on March 31, 2024. The train will make stops at key junctions including Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, and Hajipur, before reaching its final destination at Barauni at 06:30 hrs.

The return journey for the 04061 Barauni-Delhi Holi special train will commence at 08:00 hrs on April 01, 2024, departing from Barauni and making stops at Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla, and Aligarh, before concluding its journey in Delhi at 07:35 hrs.

Comprising a total of 23 coaches, the special Holi train will offer various accommodation options to cater to diverse traveler preferences. These include 18 sleeper class coaches, 2 second-class coaches, one air-conditioned AC3 coach, and one S.L.R.
