Prime Minister Modi Engages with Bihar Booth Level Workers Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday engaged in a 50-minute dialogue with booth level workers from Bihar, discussing various aspects pertinent to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Encouraging workers to educate new voters, PM Modi emphasized the importance of conveying the historical context, including the era of “Jungle Raj” and the exploits of previous governments.

Representatives from all districts of Bihar participated in the interaction, during which PM Modi directed them to highlight the achievements of the NDA government and the initiatives spearheaded by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Criticizing nepotism in politics, Modi underscored the shift from misappropriation of funds to effective governance, stating, “Earlier, 15 paise was saved in reaching the ground by 1 rupee.”

Addressing the need for unity among NDA parties, the Prime Minister lauded the empowerment of women under NDA rule, remarking on the significant progress in ensuring their participation in governance.

Engaging with individual workers, PM Modi discussed campaign progress and the impact of initiatives like the Nari Vandan program. He emphasized the importance of grassroots campaigning and understanding the prevailing sentiments of voters.

Reflecting on the significance of booth-level organization, PM Modi stressed the pivotal role of workers in strengthening democracy. Encouraging a focused approach towards securing votes, he highlighted the importance of prioritizing essential needs, such as sanitation facilities, over extensive campaigning.

Assessing public satisfaction with the NDA government’s return in Bihar, PM Modi emphasized the goal of economic empowerment, aiming to uplift three crore women to financial independence within five years.

Furthermore, PM Modi outlined plans for special campaigns during Navratri, including the Shakti Sampark Abhiyan, aimed at fostering greater engagement with women voters.
