Patna: Counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 is underway, with trends available for 201 seats so far. Early numbers indicate a clear edge for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), with several senior ministers taking comfortable leads.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has once again emerged ahead in his constituency, strengthening the NDA’s position in the early rounds. Vijay Sinha is leading in Lakhisarai, while Minister Nitin Nabin has taken a lead in Bankipur. Health Minister Mangal Pandey is ahead in Siwan, JDU Minister Lesy Singh is leading in Dhamnaha, and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has gained an early advantage in Saraiganj.

Today’s results will decide the future of 29 out of 36 ministers in the state government—16 from the BJP and 13 from the JDU. A clearer picture of who wins or loses is expected by noon.

Before the counting began, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha visited a Shiva temple in Patna to offer prayers. Speaking to the media, he said, “The people will answer the prince of Jungle Raj today; his career is about to end.”

Minister Nitin Nabin expressed confidence in a sweeping mandate, stating, “We will register a bigger victory than in 2010. The NDA is going to form the government. We will win more than 200 seats.”

Seat-by-seat overview so far:

– Nitin Naveen leads in Bankipur

– Samrat Chaudhary trails in Tarapur

– Vijay Sinha leads in Lakhisarai

– Health Minister Mangal Pandey leads in Siwan

– Former Deputy CM Renu Devi is ahead

– Lesy Singh leads in Dhamdha

– JDU’s Vijay Kumar Chaudhary leads in Saraiganj

With counting progressing rapidly, the political landscape of Bihar is set to become clearer in the next few hours.
