Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the dates for the 2026 matric (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) exams. Class 12 exams will be held from February 2 to 13, while Class 10 exams are scheduled for February 17 to 25.
In the Munger district, a combined total of 40,000 students are expected to sit the exams. According to district education officials, 19,157 candidates will appear for the Class 12 exams and 21,802 for Class 10.
To manage the exams, authorities have allocated 25 centres for Class 12 and 22 centres for Class 10. The centres are spread across the district headquarters and subdivisions, including Haveli Kharagpur and Tarapur.
The board has also issued admit cards for Class 12 practical exams, marking the next step in preparations for the examination cycle.
Officials say exam timetables have been distributed to schools, and preparations for security and logistics are underway. The board has urged students to check official notifications for centre details and updates.
