AICRP Seed Crops Monitoring Team Assesses Quality Seed Production at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour
Patna: The All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Seed Crops Monitoring team, comprising five members and led by Dr T. Ramanadane from PAJANCOA & RI Karaikal, Puducherry, conducted a visit to Bihar Agricultural University in Sabour on October 27. The visit aimed to assess various activities related to quality seed production and offer recommendations for enhancement.
The team, including Dr T. Ramanappa from UAS Bangalore, Dr Deepanshu Jayaswal, and Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad from UAS Raichur, was warmly welcomed by Dr Feza Ahmad, Director of Seed & Farms at the university. A comprehensive report detailing the ongoing activities was presented to the visiting team.
During their visit, the team toured the seed production plots and provided valuable suggestions to be integrated into the program. They expressed satisfaction with the seed production efforts conducted under the AICRP on Seed Crops. Dr. Arun Kumar coordinated the visit, ensuring a productive assessment of the quality of seed production activities.
