Patna: Patna Metro services will remain suspended tomorrow (January 28) owing to scheduled technical work, the Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRCL) has said in a press release. Normal operations are expected to resume from January 29.
According to PMRCL, a traffic and power block has been planned for the day to facilitate essential technical activities under the Patna Metro Rail Project. The work is aimed at strengthening operational systems and ensuring long-term safety and reliability of metro services.

The PMRCL stated that metro services would not be fully operational for the general public during the scheduled block. The official added that the maintenance and technical upgrades were necessary to support the efficient functioning of the network.
The corporation expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to commuters and urged passengers to make alternative travel arrangements on January 28. PMRCL also appealed to the public for cooperation during the temporary suspension.
Officials confirmed that regular revenue services would resume as scheduled from January 29, once the technical work and associated safety checks are completed.
