Patna: Under the aegis of the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Bihar, and with the joint cooperation of the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation Limited and Bihar Museum, Patna, a special musical quiz competition was organized on the occasion of the birth centenary year of the legendary composer Ravi.
In this competition, questions were asked based on visual clips and factual information related to the life of the great composer Ravi, his musical journey, and music trivia. Four teams qualified for the finals after a tough 15-question preliminary audio-visual round. They competed enthusiastically across five rounds.

- Team A comprised Ranjan Amritnidhi and Maitreyee Biswas.
- Team B included Vivek Kumar Singh, chairman, Bihar Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and Sanjay Kumar both former hostel residents of Ramjas College, Delhi, who later joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
- Team C consisted of Manoranjan Ojha, a renowned folk singer, and Ruby Kumari, Director, Culture.
- Team D was represented by lady gynaecologists Manju Mohan and Madhu Kumar.

Team B emerged as the winner with an outstanding performance. Chairman, RERA, Vivek Kumar Singh, impressed everyone with his profound knowledge of music.
As a prize, the winning team was presented with the book “Soulfully Yours”, based on the life of the great composer Ravi, authored by the renowned historian and writer Manek Premchand, who handed over the book personally.

The entire program was successfully anchored by Dr. Mukund Jagannathan, a renowned plastic surgeon and singer from Mumbai. During the competition, he also posed questions to the audience, and those who gave correct answers were awarded chocolates on stage, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and active participation in the auditorium.
The event was attended by Prof Kamal Malhotra, a professor and audio-visual consultant from Mumbai, and Arvind Ranjan Das, film adviser to the Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation, along with departmental officers, staff members, and a large number of music lovers.
The program concluded in a highly engaging, informative, and entertaining atmosphere, presenting the musical legacy of the legendary composer Ravi in a memorable manner.
