Nitish Kumar Visits Buddha Smriti ParkPatna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Buddha Smriti Park today, taking time to inspect the park’s facilities and overall management. During the visit, he interacted with visitors, who greeted him warmly, and acknowledged them with a wave, expressing his pleasure at seeing the public actively engage with the park.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister praised the park’s development, noting it as a well-maintained space for families. “Buddha Smriti Park provides an opportunity for families to visit together, learn about the teachings of Lord Buddha, and enjoy a fulfilling experience,” he said.
As part of his visit, Nitish Kumar offered prayers at the Buddha idol within the park, invoking blessings for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of the state. The Chief Minister emphasized the park’s role not just as a recreational space, but also as a centre for cultural and spiritual learning.
The visit was attended by Legislative Council member Lalan Sarraf, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Gopal Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr Chandrashekhar Singh, Commissioner of Patna Division Animesh Parasar, and District Magistrate Dr Tyagarajan S.M.
