Man storms Patna coaching centre, threatens to shoot teacher Guru RahmanPatna: A well-known coaching teacher in Patna has reported receiving a death threat after an unidentified man allegedly forced his way into his institute and threatened to shoot him, in an incident that was captured on CCTV cameras. The episode has raised fresh concerns about safety and law and order in the city.
The incident occurred at Guru Rahman’s coaching centre located in Gopal Market under the Kadamkuan police station area. According to Rahman, the man entered the premises without permission, verbally abused him and demanded that he shut down the institute. The intruder allegedly warned that he would kill the teacher within ten days.
Rahman said the confrontation left his family members and students shaken. He later approached Pirbahore police station and filed a written complaint, submitting the CCTV footage as evidence. The teacher has requested immediate police protection, stating that he fears for his life after the threat.
Speaking to police, Rahman said the accused appeared to be around 30 to 35 years old and accused him of teaching ancient Indian history in Urdu in 2013. Rahman denied the allegation, saying he does not even know the language. After issuing the warning, the suspect reportedly fled towards the Bhikhna Pahari area.
Police officials said they are reviewing the CCTV footage and have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the accused. Further action will be taken based on the findings.
