Miss Fresher’s Awards Highlight Day Two of Patna Women’s College Fresher’s Day Event

Patna: Patna Women’s College is celebrating its three-day Fresher’s Day Programme from July 29 to July 31, with a series of events showcasing the talents of its new students. The programme, so far, saw enthusiastic participation from various departments, including BMC, Botany, Psychology (UG + PG), B.Com (Accounting & Finance), Data Science and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Statistics, Sociology, AMM, History, and B.Com Professional.

On the second day, the students demonstrated their diverse skills through musical performances, dance routines, poetry recitations, and skits, making the event a memorable success. The Cultural Committee members, including Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Enakshi Dey Biswas, Dr. Jaya Philip, Dr. Manjula Sushila, Sister Nelsa A.C., Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Amrita Prakash, Sister Anna A.C., Rajeev Ranjan, Puja Kumari, Komal Kumari, Adweetiya Sinha, and Dr. Prabhat Jha, were present in their respective departments to oversee the activities.

The highlight of the day was the announcement of the Miss Fresher’s awards, recognizing outstanding students from each department. The recipients included Vaishnavi Shrivastav (B.Com Accounting & Finance), Sakshi Samriddhi (B.Com Professional), Jhanvi Kumari (History), Khushi Kumari (Sociology), Charu Mudgal (Data Science and Analytics), Sister Sinso (Psychology), Samridhi Tiwari (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Diksha Kumari (AMM), Megha Kashyap (Botany), Muskan (BMC), and Shreya (Statistics).

The students expressed their gratitude to Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, and Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Vice-Principal of Patna Women’s College, for their continued support and encouragement throughout the programme. The event reflected the vibrant and inclusive culture of the college, welcoming new students into the academic community with warmth and enthusiasm.
