Patna: The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Danapur, Pradeep Kumar Singh, conducted inspections of various coaching institutes in Danapur, as directed by the District Magistrate of Patna. The inspection covered Mentor Education Service, Physicswala, Vidya Mandir Classes, Bansal Classes, Chartered Commerce Education Private Limited, Bailey Road, Patna, and multiple institutes in Bihta including Progressive Computer Center, Satyam Education Center, Subline Classes, Gurukul Mathematics and Reasoning, Coaching Challenges, and Unique Classes.
The inspection focused on the availability of basic facilities such as basement parking, toilets, fire audits, compliance with building bylaws, proper registration, and adequate entry and exit arrangements. Many institutes were found lacking in essential amenities, including washrooms, drinking water, and fire safety measures. Furthermore, the entry and exit points in several institutes did not meet emergency handling standards.
Out of all the institutes inspected, only Vidya Mandir Classes on Bailey Road and Mentor Education Service provided evidence of proper registration. The inspection report, detailing these findings, has been submitted to the District Officer for further action. Legal steps will be taken following the District Officer’s instructions.
Regular inspections of coaching institutes will continue, and reports will be consistently forwarded to the District Officer. All coaching institute operators have been instructed to register their institutes and ensure compliance with prescribed standards to operate systematically.
