Patna: Political speculation intensified in Bihar on Thursday as reports say that Nitish Kumar could soon step down as CM.
While no official confirmation has been issued, political sources suggest he may resign from the chief minister’s post on April 8 or 9. The development has triggered discussions across the state’s political circles, with both ruling alliance leaders and opposition parties closely watching the unfolding situation.
The possibility of Kumar’s move to the Rajya Sabha has prompted speculation about who could succeed him as chief minister. According to political observers, internal discussions within the ruling coalition about leadership arrangements may gather momentum after March 16, although no names have been formally announced.
