Chhapra: The fourth installment of the Namaste Bihar program, an initiative under the banner of Let’s Inspire Bihar, is set to take place on December 8, 2024 at Rajendra Stadium in Chhapra. Spearheaded by Bihar cadre IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav, the campaign seeks to galvanize the state’s residents towards building a prosperous future for Bihar.
In preparation for the event, the first meeting of the organizing committee was held at the Central Public School Auditorium in Chhapra, chaired by Vikas Vaibhav. During the meeting, CPS Director Harendra Singh was appointed as the convener of the organizing committee. Several prominent individuals, including Seema Singh, Sachchidanand Ojha, Shailendra Sadhu, and others, were assigned key roles as co-conveners to oversee the event’s planning across Chhapra’s 20 blocks. Additional sub-committees will also be formed to support the event’s organization.
Addressing the meeting, Vikas Vaibhav emphasized the importance of making the Chhapra event a historic milestone. He called upon like-minded individuals to join the campaign and contribute to its success.
The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign was launched on March 22, 2021 by Vikas Vaibhav with the aim of transforming Bihar into a developed state within a developed India by 2047. The campaign, which now has over 1,00,000 active participants, focuses on the pillars of education, equality, and entrepreneurship. It aspires to create a Bihar where no one needs to leave for education, employment, or healthcare, and seeks to transcend caste, communal, and gender divisions by drawing inspiration from the state’s rich heritage.
Over the past three years, more than 1,400 programs have been organized across Bihar and in major cities both within India and abroad. The inaugural Namaste Bihar event in Begusarai on December 10, 2023 saw participation from over 50,000 people. Following this, the third grand public dialogue is scheduled for Sasaram on December 1, with the Chhapra event on December 8, and a fifth event in Hajipur on February 9, 2025.
