Patna: The Energy Department has launched a special initiative to quickly resolve electricity consumer issues. Under this initiative, special camps are being organized every Monday and Friday throughout the month of April. Complaints registered here are being resolved within 72 hours.
The objective of these camps is to provide consumers with quick and simple solutions to their electricity-related problems. Errors related to electricity bills, technical problems with power supply, and other complaints will be resolved on the spot.
The major consumer issues that will be addressed at the special camp include electricity bill corrections, tilted poles or loose wires, low voltage, faulty transformers, applications for new electricity connections, name changes, complaints related to smart prepaid meters, applications for agricultural connections, and information related to the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.
In addition, consumers will be able to conveniently pay their outstanding electricity bills at the camp and register their complaints by arriving with the required documents.
These camps will be held at all electrical engineer offices on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The department has appealed to consumers to come to the camp with the necessary documents related to their problems to ensure prompt resolution of their complaints.
