Patna: During the discussion on the Vote of Confidence motion in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Samrat Chaudhary made several important announcements about the future plans of his government. Along with strongly attacking the opposition, he presented a clear vision for improving Bihar’s administration, law and order, and education system. His speech was seen as an effort to show that the government is serious about taking action on public issues rather than only engaging in political arguments.

One of the biggest highlights of his speech was his statement about Bihar’s government schools. Chaudhary said that no one can force ministers or government officers to send their children to government schools. However, he added that the government’s goal is to improve the quality of these schools so much that people from every section of society will choose them willingly. He said the government wants to build trust in public schools by improving education standards, infrastructure and overall management.

The chief minister also spoke about the work done in the education sector during the tenure of Nitish Kumar. He said school buildings and educational facilities have improved over the years and lakhs of teachers have been recruited. According to him, the next step is to strengthen this system further and ensure better quality education for students across Bihar. His remarks come at a time when education remains one of the biggest issues for families in the state.

Apart from education, Chaudhary announced a major administrative reform. He said that activities at the Block, Circle and Police Station levels will now be monitored directly by the Chief Minister’s Office. He said this will increase accountability among officials and help solve public complaints more quickly. The move is expected to improve the delivery of government services and make local administration more responsive to the needs of ordinary people.

On law and order, the chief minister said women’s safety is one of the government’s top priorities. He warned criminals that the government will adopt a zero-tolerance policy against crime. He said strict action will be taken to ensure peace and security in the state. This statement appeared to send a strong message that the government is focusing on maintaining public safety and improving confidence among citizens.

In another major relief announcement, Chaudhary said families of those who die in road accidents will now receive Rs 8 lakh in compensation. Out of this amount, Rs 4 lakh will be paid by the insurance company and the remaining Rs 4 lakh by the Bihar government. He said the decision has been taken to provide faster and stronger financial support to affected families during difficult times.

This Assembly session was also historic because, for the first time in nearly 20 years, Nitish Kumar and Nitin Nabin were absent from the House. Both leaders have now become members of the Rajya Sabha. Their absence marked a major political change in the Assembly. Through this speech, Samrat Chaudhary tried to show that his government is ready to move ahead with real reforms in education, governance and public welfare.
