Hajipur/Patna: Railway authorities have extended the operational period of the special train running between Danapur and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru in view of increased passenger traffic on the busy Bihar-Karnataka route.
Under the revised schedule, the train from Danapur to SMVT Bengaluru will now run daily until May 31, while the return service from Bengaluru to Danapur will continue until June 2.
Danapur to Bengaluru schedule
Train number 03251 Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Special will depart Danapur at 3.00pm each day and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 2.30pm on the third day, halting at several stations en route.
Bengaluru to Danapur schedule
Train number 03252 SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Special will leave Bengaluru at 11.50pm daily and arrive at Danapur at 11.55pm on the third day.
Key stoppages on the route
In both directions, the special service will stop at major stations including Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Chheoki, Satna and Jabalpur, among others.
Relief for summer travellers
The extension is expected to benefit migrant workers, students and families travelling between Bihar and southern India during the summer travel season, when demand for confirmed berths typically rises sharply.
