Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin document verification for its assistant professor recruitment drive on May 18, with the process scheduled to continue until May 27, officials said.
The exercise is being conducted for 88 posts under the state health department, with appointments to be made in government ayurvedic colleges in Patna and Begusarai across multiple disciplines.
The commission has published the list of eligible candidates who have been shortlisted for the verification stage. Only those whose names appear on the list will be allowed to participate, and candidates must attend strictly on their allotted date and time, failing which their candidature may be forfeited.
Candidates have been instructed to carry a valid photo identity proof on the day of verification. Acceptable documents include Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card, driving licence or voter ID card. Both originals and photocopies must be produced.
Applicants are also required to bring a printed copy of their online application form along with all relevant educational documents. These include the matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth, BAMS degree certificates, semester-wise mark sheets, and postgraduate (Ayurveda) qualification documents.
In cases where the date of passing is not clearly mentioned on a postgraduate certificate, candidates must provide supporting documentation issued by the relevant university indicating the result declaration date.
All documents must be arranged in a single set of self-attested photocopies alongside originals for scrutiny. The commission has warned that any discrepancy or incomplete documentation may lead to cancellation of candidature.
BPSC has emphasised that candidates must report on time and ensure compliance with all instructions, stating that the verification process will be conducted strictly according to established guidelines.
