Patna: A momentous occasion is set to unfold as Bihar gears up to celebrate the appointment of 25,000 teachers who have been selected by the Bihar Public Service Commission.
Altogether 1,20,000 appointment letters are slated to be distributed to selected candidates in different districts, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will personally hand over appointment letters to the selected educators in a ceremony scheduled to take place at Gandhi Maidan at Patna.
This event promises to be a milestone for the education sector in Bihar. Speaking at an official programme on Wednesday, CM Nitish highlighted the distribution of 1,20,000 teacher appointment letters on Thursday.
To ensure the safety and security of the event, the district administration has put an elaborate plan in place. Over 600 police personnel, complemented by 80 magistrates and 100 police officers, will be stationed both inside and outside Gandhi Maidan. This significant police presence is a measure to maintain law and order during the ceremony, ensuring the safety of all attendees.
Moreover, the event will be closely monitored through a network of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, further enhancing security measures and facilitating a smooth and secure environment.
The ceremony will be held in the western section of Gandhi Maidan, where a designated area has been cordoned off to accommodate the selected teachers. Barricades have been erected within the ground to provide seating arrangements for the new educators. On the day of the ceremony, selected teachers will access the venue through gate numbers 4, 5, 10, and 12, with entry permitted from 12 noon onwards. To gain entry, teachers are required to present their provisional appointment letter along with their Aadhar card for verification.
Inside the grounds, a district-wise seating arrangement has been carefully organized within the extensive barricading. Each school’s selected teachers will occupy designated positions, streamlining the event for participants. Attendees have been advised not to bring personal belongings such as bags, food containers, or water bottles, as ample provisions for water and restroom facilities have been made available within the grounds.
Additionally, a help desk will be positioned at the entrance to assist attendees and provide any necessary guidance or information.
The district administration has requested selected teachers to refrain from taking photos or videos using mobile phones or electronic devices during the program. Instead, a separate arrangement has been made for photographs and videos, which will be made accessible to the districts. This system will allow candidates to obtain images from the event without the need for personal recordings.
