Patna: The Bihar Combined Entrance Test (CET-BEd 2026) for admission to two-year BEd and Shiksha Shastri courses in government and private colleges will be conducted on June 7 across 11 major cities in the state.
According to a fortnightly progress report submitted to Lok Bhavan in Patna, the examination will be organised under the supervision of university vice-chancellors and nodal officers.
Officials said 82,425 candidates had successfully registered for the examination by Friday.
Applications open with late fee till May 21
Candidates can continue to apply online with a late fee until May 21.
Universities have assigned nodal officers to physically verify proposed examination centres to ensure adequate infrastructure and security arrangements ahead of the examination.
The entrance test is conducted for admissions to BEd and Shiksha Shastri programmes offered by various universities and affiliated colleges across Bihar.
BPSSC invites applications for 22 ASI technical posts
Separately, the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) on Friday invited applications for 22 vacant posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical).
The vacancies are in Bihar Police Radio, Patna. Online applications will begin from May 21 through the commission’s official website.
Interested candidates can submit applications until June 21. The commission said age eligibility will be calculated as on August 1, 2025.
