Patna: The Web Journalists Association of India (WJAI) has announced a new executive committee for its Bihar state unit following approval by the organisation’s National President, Anand Kaushal.
According to a notification issued by National General Secretary Madhup Mani “Pikku”, Akshay Anand of LiveCities has been appointed as the Bihar State President.
New Office-Bearers Announced
The newly constituted executive committee includes Prafull Jha (Pratek News), Anshu Kumar Jha (News PR), Abhishek Singh (IANS News Agency) and Amar Kumar Sinha (Bihar Patrika) as Vice Presidents.
Sagar Kumar (News Haat) has been appointed General Secretary.
Karuna Kumari (Patna Press), Rohit Mehta (BBN News), Raushan Sangahi (Inquilab India, Bhagalpur) and Anjani Pandey (Prabhat Khabar) have been named Secretaries.
Raj Kamal (Prabhat Khabar), Arvind Ji (SDF News), Subhash Yadav (Jaynagar News) and Aditya Kumar (JamGhat Live) have been appointed Joint Secretaries.
Simranjit Singh (Bihar News) has been named Office Secretary, Ratnesh Pandey (Bihar News Today) Treasurer, and Ravi Bhushan (Bharat Varta) has been inducted as a member of the Working Committee.
Focus On Strengthening The Organisation
Congratulating the newly appointed office-bearers, National President Anand Kaushal and other national leaders of the association expressed confidence that the new team would help strengthen the organisation’s activities across Bihar.
State President Akshay Anand said the remaining vacant positions in the executive committee would be filled in the coming days by nominating active and capable members from across the state.
