Patna: The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in seven districts of Bihar today, while the weather in the capital city, Patna, is expected to remain cloudy. The monsoon remains active in some parts of the state due to easterly winds, resulting in light rainfall in select areas.
According to the Patna Meteorological Center, there is no likelihood of rain across any district after October 12. Following that date, the weather is expected to normalize throughout the state, as the monsoon is on the verge of fully withdrawing from Bihar within the next two days.
For the upcoming festive days, Navami on October 11 and Vijaya Dashami on October 12, no weather warnings have been issued. The forecast predicts dry conditions across all districts, ensuring that festivities will not be disrupted by rain.
Over the past 24 hours, the monsoon has weakened in Bihar, with only light to moderate rainfall recorded at isolated locations. Siwan experienced the highest temperature in the state, reaching 36.3 degrees Celsius, while the lowest minimum temperature of 23.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rohtas.
As the monsoon gradually retreats, residents of Bihar can expect dry weather ahead, particularly during the upcoming festive period.
