Patna: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday interacted with successful candidates from Bihar who cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025, congratulating them on their achievement and urging them to contribute to the state’s development alongside nation-building.
The interaction was held at Sankalp Hall in the Lok Sevak Awas, where the Chief Minister felicitated the successful candidates and wished them success in their future careers.
“The success of Bihar’s youth in one of the country’s most prestigious examinations is a matter of pride for the entire state,” Choudhary said, adding that the determination, talent and hard work of Bihar’s young people had enhanced the state’s reputation at the national level.
‘Never Forget Your Roots’
Addressing the newly selected civil servants, the Chief Minister urged them to remain connected to their home state irrespective of where they are posted during their careers.
He said they should always remember their responsibilities towards their birthplace and keep Bihar’s interests in mind while serving the nation.
“The more the people of Bihar progress, the greater the prosperity the state will witness,” he said, adding that the contribution of the new generation would be crucial in accelerating Bihar’s development.

Role in Nation-Building
Choudhary said officers from Bihar could make a significant contribution to both national development and the state’s progress through their administrative skills, experience and public service.
He encouraged the successful candidates to uphold integrity and dedicate themselves to public welfare throughout their careers.
Focus on Education
Highlighting the state’s education initiatives, the Chief Minister said the government was expanding access to higher education by strengthening degree colleges across all blocks.
He said the government was also working to modernise school education through model schools, live classrooms and support for competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE.
Choudhary added that efforts were underway to provide round-the-clock online teaching and academic guidance, aimed at giving students in Bihar greater opportunities to excel in higher education and competitive examinations.
