Patna: The Patna High Court has announced the examination date for the Assistant Recruitment 2026. The recruitment examination for 68 Assistant posts will be conducted on September 18, 2026.
Candidates who completed the application process can now prepare for the examination. The admit cards are scheduled to be released on September 12, 2026.
Application Process Already Completed
The online application process for the recruitment was conducted from July 28 to August 27, 2026.
Candidates were required to submit the application fee by August 30, 2026. With the application process now complete, the focus has shifted to the upcoming examination and admit card release.
The recruitment has been announced under Advertisement No. PHC/03/2026, with 68 vacancies available for the Assistant post.
Admit Card to Be Released on September 12
According to the recruitment update, candidates will be able to access their admit cards from September 12.
The admit card will contain important information such as the examination centre, reporting requirements and other instructions for candidates.

Graduation Required for Assistant Post
Candidates applying for the Assistant post must hold a graduate degree.
In addition, applicants are required to have a six-month diploma or certificate in computer application as specified in the recruitment requirements.
For age eligibility, candidates must be at least 18 years old as of January 1, 2026. The maximum age limit is 37 years, with applicable relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Selection Will Take Place in Multiple Stages
The selection process for the Assistant recruitment will be conducted in several stages.
Candidates will first appear for the preliminary examination, followed by the written examination. Both examinations will be based on multiple-choice questions.
Those qualifying the written examination will proceed to the Computer Proficiency Test. The subsequent stages will include an interview, document verification and medical examination.
