Munger/Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Thursday visited the Bhimbandh Eco-Tourism area in Haveli Kharagpur block of Munger district and reviewed the development works being carried out in the region.
During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with members of the tribal community living in the area and heard their concerns. He directed officials to take necessary steps towards resolving their problems.
Tribal Community Raises Development Demands
Members of the tribal community expressed happiness over meeting the Chief Minister and raised slogans in his support.
During their interaction, they highlighted several long-standing development needs, including better roads, drinking water facilities, a high school, an irrigation canal and a community hall.
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary listened to the demands and assured the community that the government was committed to their development.
CM Directs Officials to Address Local Issues
The Chief Minister said that development works required for the welfare of the tribal community would be undertaken.
He directed the concerned officials to work towards addressing the issues raised by local residents and ensure that necessary development measures are taken.
The visit also included a review of ongoing development activities in the Bhimbandh Eco-Tourism area.
Focus on Eco-Tourism and Local Development
Bhimbandh is an important eco-tourism destination in Munger, and the government is working to improve infrastructure and facilities in the area.
The Chief Minister’s interaction with the tribal community brought local development concerns into focus, particularly those related to basic amenities, education, connectivity and irrigation.
Senior Officials and Ministers Attend Visit
Sugarcane Industries Minister and Munger district in-charge minister Sanjay Kumar, Road Construction Minister Kumar Shailendra, MP Arun Bharti, MLAs Kumar Pranay and Manish Kumar, and former MLA Rajiv Kumar Singh were among those present.
Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Additional Chief Secretary of the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department Anand Kishore, Chief Minister’s Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, Munger Divisional Commissioner Prem Singh Meena, Munger Range Deputy Inspector General of Police Rakesh Kumar, District Magistrate Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar and Superintendent of Police Syed Imran Masood were also present.
Representatives of the tribal community and other senior officials attended the programme.
