Patna : Several trains connecting Bihar with Delhi have been cancelled following railway restrictions linked to a proposed demonstration at Jantar Mantar on Saturday, October 10. The disruption affects services operating to and from New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations, causing inconvenience to passengers travelling from Bihar.
Four pairs of trains connecting Patna with Delhi have been cancelled. The Jogbani–Anand Vihar Terminal Seemanchal Express has also been cancelled for October 9.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check their train status before leaving home, as the cancellations may affect travel plans.

Seemanchal Express Cancelled On October 9
The report states that train number 12487, Seemanchal Express, scheduled to operate from Jogbani to Anand Vihar Terminal on October 9, was cancelled over the entire route.
Railway officials were instructed to publicise the cancellation through passenger information systems and other communication channels, including the railway helpline 139.
The cancellation is particularly relevant for passengers travelling from the Jogbani region of Bihar towards Delhi.
Restrictions On Trains Arriving In Delhi
According to the report, trains scheduled to arrive at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations between 4 am and 2 pm on October 10 were affected by the restrictions. Departures towards these stations were also reported cancelled from 2 pm on October 9.
The measures were linked to a demonstration announced for October 10 at Jantar Mantar. The report said Delhi Police had not granted permission for the proposed gathering, citing insufficient time for security preparations.
Organisers, however, maintained that the demonstration would go ahead.
