According to an important notice issued by the commission, the examination has been deferred due to unavoidable reasons. The BPSC has not announced a revised date or provided a detailed explanation for the postponement.

Candidates preparing for the examination will have to wait for the revised schedule. The commission has advised aspirants to monitor its official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, for further notifications.

Recruitment For 1,186 Government Posts

The 72nd Combined Competitive Examination is intended to fill 1,186 vacancies across various Bihar government departments.

The initial notification covered 1,230 posts, but 44 Sugarcane Officer vacancies were subsequently removed from the examination. Changes were also made to the number of vacancies for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and other positions.

The recruitment drive includes administrative, police and other government posts.
